Congrats to Jack Hauser and Lizzy Boor, this week’s TIGERs of the Week:
Jack Hauser – Knowledge Bowl
Jack brings a vast knowledge of a multitude of subject areas to his team and they have learned to listen to each other and trust who has the best answer for that particular question. Jack’s teammates appreciate his unique style and Jack himself has grown in understanding his own strengths and accepting feedback for areas for areas of growth. Jack wants to win and be the best but also understands the bigger picture. He is respectful to judges and offers input in appropriate ways when advocating for his team.
Lizzy Boor – Speech
As a Captain she has been a great leader, not only competitively, but also from an organization standpoint. This year, she has finaled at every tournament we have attended and placed high. In the past two days, Lizzy placed at the Wright County Conference Meet, the Fairmont Invitational, and also won 1st place in Informative speaking at the Mankato East and Farmington Tournament. Since coming to the speech team last year, she has grown immensely and her talent has developed exponentially.
