Hello! My name is Dan Olberg. I am proud to welcome you to Park Elementary School, serving approximately 400 students in grades 4 and 5. We have a qualified, exceptional staff working together to provide consistent research-based instruction while tailoring learning to individual needs.
Grade levels collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, library, STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art, & Math), art, and science as well as enrichment, Special Education, and Title 1 to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Additionally, extended-day and extended-year classes are also offered.
Park Elementary believes in these important character traits T.I.G.E.R.S (Teamwork, Independent, Grit, Everyone Counts, Responsible, Self Control) By practicing these qualities, students are able to reach their full potential while mastering critical foundational skills and knowledge in literacy and math.
The Park school day begins at 8:30, with the first bell ringing and students expected to be in their classrooms by 8:40, and ends at 3:15. Students can choose to begin their day with breakfast, as our school offers a free breakfast program to all of our students. Additionally, lunch and recess take place with students from the same grade level.
Families are a very important part of the Park Elementary experience. You may contact your child’s teacher for specific questions or feel free to call our office at 320-587-2837 for school-wide assistance. Office hours are from 7:30 – 4:00, and you may also leave a message after school hours.
We look forward to meeting you and your child as we partner in providing the best opportunities for educational and personal success.
In service to our students, parents/guardians and community,
Dan Olberg, Park Elementary Principal
