Josh Filk – Wrestling
Josh has a record of 24 wins and only 6 loses this season and has been a major contributor to the team’s success this season. Josh exemplifies what we expect out of our competitors in wrestling. His tenacity is shown daily with his get after it attitude. He upholds the integrity of the sport and himself on a regular basis and shows his gratitude by appreciating every chance that he gets to step on the mat and compete. Josh shows great effort not only in his matches but in practice as well and always shows respect for opponents, team, coaches, and himself.
Alex Hantge – Girls Hockey
Alex has scored 18 goals this season, including a recent overtime winner against Holy Family/Waconia. Alex goes out every shift and tries to work harder than anyone else on the ice. Her tenacity is a main reason why our penalty kill and power play have been so successful. She makes the most of each opportunity for herself and for her teammates that are on the ice. She has earned the respect from her teammates, coaches and opponents by consistently showing 100% effort and a positive attitude during practice and games.
