How do students earn a letter “H”?
There are many ways that you can earn a letter “H” at Hutchinson Public Schools. Lettering in academics, athletics, and activities is determined by coaches and advisors. After a coach or advisor announces that a student has lettered in that activity, students can go to the HHS Activities Office and pick up their chenille patch.
Do I have to pay for my awards?
For first-time awards, students can pick up their chenille patches in the Activities Office. Second-year award bars are for purchase ($3 each) in the Activities Office. Specialty chenille patches (i.e. State Participant, All Conference, etc) can be purchased. Please stop in Activities office for more details.
Where can I order a letter jacket?
If students want to display chenille patches on a letter jacket, they can purchase an official Hutchinson Tiger Letter Jackets through Meca Sportswear. More information to come on how to order. Please be aware that jackets can take several weeks to make.
