Mandatory Senior Meeting with Jostens on Tuesday, September 24th during Advisory (12:40-1:06 pm)
All Seniors should attend this meeting, the Jostens Rep will be giving them information about the Cap & Gown Process and all other important Graduation Information. If the senior is unable to attend, please let Shannon Hendrickson, HHS Admin Assistant know.
2025 Graduation Letter
If you want to fill out your Senior Diploma Name and Parent Information electronically. This form can only be filled out by the students using their school Google account/email.
The following Senior Information below is due or needed by December 2nd, 2024
- Pay Grad Fee $30
- Cap and Gown orders
- Diploma and Parent Information: Fill out the bottom of the senior letter and return it to the office, or the Senior Student can fill out this Senior Graduation Google Form instead of the bottom of the letter
- Senior Pictures are due to Jostens by December 15th, 2024
- Upload senior pictures to Jostens
- Cap/Gown & Tickets Distribution Date May 2025: (official date will be updated when available) – Cap & Gown/Commencement Ticket Distribution during Advisory and lunches in the HS Commons. If you are not able to pick them up at this date/time, they can be picked up in the office beginning TBD. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE PICK UP.
Reminder: Each member of the Class of 2025 will be provided with six (6) tickets to Commencement. HHS will not be holding any extra tickets. Therefore, if a student desires additional tickets, we recommend that the student informally crowdsource. - Senior Slideshow Each year we like to have a slideshow as part of the graduation Ceremony, if you would like to get a head start, please click on the Google form below to answer some questions regarding your plans after graduation and upload a senior picture and baby picture of yourself.

Letter to Students and Families – Commencement 2025 Timeline (will be sent out to families mid to end of May from HS Principal, once it has been sent out will update the website with a link to the letter)
2025 Graduation will be held Friday, June 6th @ 6:30 pm in the Whalen Gymnasium.
Each graduate will be issued 6 tickets for commencement.

Graduation Requirements
Students will be required to complete the following graduation requirements as outlined by the State of Minnesota and the Hutchinson Board of Education. Students shall earn a minimum number of required and elective credits outlined below.

- Science – All students need to have 1.0 cr in Biology and 1.0 cr in Physics or Chem. If you’re not taking a yearlong Chem/Phys your junior year, you will take both Natural Physics and Natural Chemistry as a junior.
- Physical Education – At least 1.0 credits total, 0.5 cr must be earned in a Fitness course.
- Fine Arts Requirement – At least 1.0, please see Fine Arts requirements.
