Congrats to Allie Fauth and Ben McKimm, our TIGERs of the Week for May 2:
Allie is a natural leader on the field. She shows up every day and pushes herself and her teammates to become better. She is very encouraging to her teammates and helps lead by example. She has respect for her opponents, umpires, coaches and teammates.
Ben is 8-1 on the season at the number 1 singles spot. He helped clinch the win against Mound Westonka by winning his third set 6-0.
Ben hasn’t given up on a match mentally or physically this year. He has improved his footwork and his calmness the most, staying level-headed even when the momentum of a match changes. He’s a positive leader for our team because of his attitude and effort. He has earned the respect of his coaches and teammates.
