100th Day of School Fun!

Our TIGERs of the Week for January 30 – February 3 are Cody and Hollin:
Cody Arlt – Boys Hockey
In two games over the past weekend, Cody picked up 5 points. Cody is a team player that is always willing to do whatever is asked of him. He shows respect for the game, and everyone involved. His work ethic and effort makes everyone around him better.
Hollin Rutledge – Dance
Hollin is a motivated senior dancer. Her experience and motivational qualities are great assets to the Showstoppers at this point of the year. She works hard daily at practice and continues to ask for areas of improvement. Hollin is goal-oriented and strives to make her teammates around her better.
Congratulations to Tori and Fletcher, our TIGERs of the Week for January 23 – 27
Fletcher Vilt – Boys Basketball
Fletcher is the leading scorer for the Tiger boys basketball team. Fletcher is a prime example of what it means to be a great teammate. He works extremely hard every day and is a good role model for our younger players. He is respectful to his coaches and teammates.
Tori Wortz – Girls Basketball
Tori is the leading scorer for the Tiger girls basketball team. Tori is a very talented basketball player. She is very good at multiple things. She rebounds, defends, assists, scores, helps, and leads. She has earned the respect of her teammates and opponents. Tori has been nominated for Minnesota’s Miss Basketball. We are proud and lucky that Tori is a Hutch Tiger!

Congratulations to Ellie and Tyler, our TIGERs of the Week for January 16 – 20
Ellie Larson – Girls Hockey
Ellie Scored two goals in our win against Litchfield, including a short-handed goal in the second period, as well as a four-point game the night before in St. Peter. Ellie demonstrates tenacity equally in practice and games. She’s always an aggressive player in games and knows how to push her teammates in practice. She is thankful for the opportunity she has to be a leader on the team, and is always setting a good example through her effort, fair play, and respect for the game and her opponents.
Tyler Stenzel – Wrestling
Tyler has compiled a 20-1 record to date this season with most of those wins coming by fall. His only loss came back in the first week of the season to a ranked wrestler. Tyler is a very hard worker and a great role model for our younger athletes. Tyler shows a great deal of respect to his coaches and team and also understands and is thankful for the opportunities that the sport of wrestling has provided him.

Congratulations to Anton and Emily, the TIGERs of the Week for January 9 – 13
Anton Nunvar – Boys Swim and Dive
Scored 22 team points in individual events and contributed to 59 team points as part of relay teams at Maroon & Gold Invitational at U of M. He took 2nd place in both of his individual events against 37 competitors. Anton is a good example for other swimmers to follow and he goes 100% every time he swims. Anton is respectful of coaches and teammates.
Emily Fairbanks – Dance
Emily has a contagious work ethic. She works hard at every practice to be the best teammate on both varsity high kick and jazz. She is constantly asking how to improve her skills. As our season is winding down, Emily continues to strive to meet personal and team goals.

Kenzie Rensch – Girls Basketball
You can see her love of the game every time she takes the court. What people don’t see is the dedication she has to make herself better when nobody is watching. She puts in countless hours of practice trying to better herself for the sake of our team. Kenzie is a tremendous defender, sets up our team on offense, scores from inside and out, and rebounds better than any other point guard in the area. We are proud of our Tiger of the Week, Kenzie Rensch!
Brooks Telecky – Boys Hockey
Brooks has gotten off to a great start for the the season. As a goaltender he has given us a chance to win every night. His work ethic and discipline have proven important factors for helping our team be successful. His ability to compete is one of his strengths, which makes those around him better. Brooks is respectful of the game, teammates, opponents, officials, and everyone involved with the sport.
