Tigers of the Week December 12-16, 2016: Colton Baumgardt & Chrissy Dennison

Congratulations to Colton and Chrissy, this week’s TIGERs of the Week.

Colton Baumgardt – Boys Swim and Dive
At the Tigersharks Invitational, Colton demonstrated tenacity in staying around for hours to compete with the relay even though he did not feel well. He demonstrated integrity in putting his relay team ahead of himself. He demonstrated effort first to stay at the meet and second to compete in spite of not feeling well. Through all of this he demonstrated respect for teammates.

Chrissy Dennison – Dance
Chrissy consistently comes to practice everyday with a positive attitude and a tremendous work ethic. She is able to change roles within the team when asked. She continues to grow in her ability and impresses the coaching staff daily. Chrissy’s team members can tell she puts in more time outside of practice to be a better teammate.

Tigers of the Week, December 5-9, 2016: Elle Wheatley and Chandler Kurth

Congratulations to Elle and Chandler, the TIGERs of the Week for December 5 – 9

Elle Wheatley – Girls Basketball

Elle made five three-point baskets in the first game of the season in a win over Kasson-Mantorville.

Elle brings a very determined attitude to the basketball court and she looks to help our team in many different ways. She will be the first one to dive for a loose ball and she not afraid to mix it up with girls that are larger than her. Her combination of skill and heart make her the Tiger of the Week!

Chandler Kurth – Wrestling

Chandler is undefeated to start the season including bumping up a weight and defeating the #1 ranked heavyweight from Minnesota to secure a team victory. He was also a champion at the Litchfield individual tournament. Chandler has been a great role model for our athletes. His accomplishments on the mat are directly related to his attitude and effort off the mat. His willingness to put the team first and always compete to the best of his abilities are very much appreciated.
